Description

No. 38 West Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two stories tall. The façade includes a two-window range of leaded casements set under stone lintels with keyblocks. A central 20th-century door is flanked by a rectangular fanlight and has a similar head. There are stone stacks at either end of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
