Description

No. 18 West Street is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features a facade made of limestone ashlar and is topped with a Collyweston slate roof. The building was originally likely designed as a one-unit plan and has two storeys. The front has a single window range, which includes a two-storey canted bay window with casement windows on the left side. To the right, there is a 20th-century door set beneath a wooden lintel. The house has ashlar gable parapets and a brick stack at the end. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior was not inspected. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
