Description
No. 7 is a school house that has been converted into a house, with a datestone dating it to 1766. The building is constructed from squared coursed limestone with an ashlar front and features a corrugated asbestos roof. It originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The façade has a two-window range of casement windows with glazing bars, all set beneath a wooden lintel. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets, and there are brick stacks at both ends. A central sundial is present on the exterior. To the left of the sundial is a tablet inscribed with "Edw. Incley. Jno Lamber, Saml Birditt," while the tablet to the right reads "Wm. Aldwinckle, Wm. Hikon, Bailiffs 1766." Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have remains of an open fireplace.
