Description

The Round House is a lock-up building, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a stone roof with a circular plan. The building is single storey and has a studded plank door set beneath a stone lintel. There are small vents with grilles, and it is topped with a conical roof that has a ball finial. The interior has not been inspected. The Round House is also scheduled as an ancient monument.
