Description

No. 2 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 18th century and was restored in the mid-20th century. The building is made of limestone, rendered, and features a thatched roof. It originally had a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has a three-window range of 20th-century casements with glazing bars in the original openings. At the ground floor, there are three 20th-century shop windows with glazing bars, along with two plank doors situated between them. A rebuilt stone stack is located at the ridge of the roof. Inside, there are remains of an open fireplace with a bressumer.
