Description
No. 61 Church Street is a house dated 1859, constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The building is 1.5 storeys high and has two bays. It features coped gables and moulded stone end stacks. The windows are ovolo-moulded stone mullioned, with three lights on the ground floor and two-light half-dormers above, all topped with coped gables. There are segmental relieving arches and leaded casements. At the rear, there is a lower parallel range that contains the entrance, which features a partly-glazed 19th-century door in an arched surround, along with a single-light window above. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value.
