Description
Number 11 and the attached shop is a house that has been converted into a house and shop, dating from the mid-18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of painted and rendered limestone with a thatched roof. The original layout was a three-unit plan, and the building stands two storeys high. The front features a three-window range of plain casements, some of which are set under wooden lintels. To the left, there is a 20th-century shop front. The building has brick and stone stacks located at the ridge and at the end. An early 19th-century extension is attached at right angles to the right side, featuring a two-window range of sash windows with glazing bars and a central 20th-century door. Inside the shop, there are remains of an open fireplace. This building is included for its group value.
