Description
Number 10 and attached shop is a house, now used as a shop, house, and flat, with origins in the 17th century, but largely dating to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a slate and plain tile roof. Originally planned around two units, it now has a three-window range to the first floor, featuring unhorned sash windows with glazing bars. Two 20th-century canted bay windows have been added to the ground floor, along with a 20th-century glazed front door positioned between them. The rear elevation features a plain tile roof, a 17th-century lateral stack, and a small 20th-century extension. The ground floor interior is now arranged as a 20th-century shop. The building is included on the list for its group value.
