Description

Florence Simpson Limited is a house that has been converted into a house and shop, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The original layout was a three-unit plan, and the building is single storey with an attic.

The front has a four-window range of leaded casements on the first floor, which are set beneath eyebrow dormers. To the right of the centre, there is a 19th-century shop front that includes 20th-century plate glass windows on either side. A leaded casement window with a wooden lintel is located at the far left. The building has been fitted with rebuilt brick stacks.

To the left, there is a 19th-century one-unit extension that features a cart entrance beneath a wooden lintel, along with a 20th-century shop window and a flat-topped eaves dormer. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension. Inside, some ceiling beams can be seen.
