Description

This early 18th-century farmhouse, along with an attached outbuilding and barn, is constructed of squared coursed limestone. The farmhouse has a concrete tile roof, while the barn has a pantile roof. Originally a two-unit plan, the farmhouse is two storeys high with a two-window front facade. The windows are casements with glazing bars, set beneath wooden lintels. Ashlar gable parapets top the farmhouse, and renewed brick and stone stacks are located at the ridge and end. A single-storey extension, built in the 19th century and matching the original style, is situated to the left. Attached to the right is a 19th-century, one-unit, two-storey outbuilding which links to the 18th-century barn. The barn features a small, central plank door under a wooden lintel, and roundels in the apex of each gable; the roundel on the left is cusped. The rear of the farmhouse has five leaded casements and a 20th-century glazed porch. The interior includes ceiling beams and an open fireplace.
