Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to 1606, with restoration and remodeling that occurred in the 18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a 20th-century plain tile roof. The building has a T-shape plan and stands two storeys high.

The main front includes a gabled wing that projects forward to the left of the centre, flanked by a two-window range on both sides. The windows are leaded casements set under wooden lintels. On the right side, there is a central 20th-century door beneath a wooden lintel, while the left side features a 20th-century porch that connects to the cross wing and contains an 18th-century two-panelled door. The return walls of the cross wings have leaded casements and 20th-century French doors on the right side. The datestone is located next to the French doors. The gable end of the cross wing is rendered and has a 19th-century lean-to. There are brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends, and the right gable has leaded casements.

The rear elevation consists of a five-window range, which includes one blank window and one sash window, with the remaining windows being leaded casements under wooden lintels. Inside, the study in the cross wing features full-height 17th-century panelling with a moulded cornice. The room to the left has a large open fireplace with a bressumer and a gun rack above it. The ceiling beams and some 18th-century plank and panelled doors are also notable features.
