Description
Numbers 2 (Rose Cottage) and 4 are two dwellings that were originally three houses, dating from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of regularly coursed lias stone, with some parts painted, and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and form a five-window range, with 19th and 20th-century casement windows set beneath wooden lintels. There are three doors from the 19th and 20th centuries, also under wooden lintels, located between the windows. Number 2 includes a 20th-century porch. Brick stacks are positioned at the ridge and end of the buildings. There are 19th and 20th-century extensions at the rear. This listing is included for its group value.
