Description

26 and 28 Main Street are two dwellings that were originally four houses, built in the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of squared coursed limestone and feature a thatched roof. They have a two-storey design and together form an eight-window range, with renewed casements set under wooden lintels. There are three 20th-century doors located between the window ranges, with the door on the right having a 20th-century porch. Brick stacks are present at the ridge and end of the buildings. A single-storey 20th-century extension is located at the far right. The interiors were not inspected, but it was noted that they contain spine beams.
