Description
The Old Swan Public House is a public house located in Earls Barton, dating from the mid-18th century and late 19th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed lias and brick, which is now painted, and features a thatch and slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The façade includes a two-window range of casements that are set under wooden lintels. To the right, there is a 20th-century door with a metal canopy above it. The building has gable parapets and brick stacks at both ends. An extension from the late 19th century, which is also two storeys high and has a two-window range, is located to the right. Inside, the pub features some spine beams.
