Description

49 Church Street is a house located in Easton on the Hill, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is built from squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The original design is a two-unit plan with two storeys. The front has a two-window range of eight-paned, unhorned sash windows set beneath stone lintels, with keyblocks on the ground floor windows. A central six-panel door is topped with glazed toplights and a similar head. There is a 19th-century wooden porch, and stone stacks are located at both ends of the building. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
