Description
The tomb of the Townsend family is located 3 meters east of the chancel and dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of stone and features a moulded plinth and a cornice lid. The tomb has recessed square corner balusters and moulded side panels that bear inscriptions for Anne Townsend from 1776, Joseph and Elizabeth Townsend from 1793 and 1762, and Joseph Townsend from an uncertain year in the 1790s. The west panel displays a coat-of-arms.
