Description

The barns at Barton Colyers are a Grade II listed structure, dating from the 17th century and early 19th century. The older barn is timber framed, featuring dark weatherboarding and steep old red tile roofs. It has three bays, a rear aisle, and a gabled central porch that faces south. The lower 19th-century barn is positioned to the east, backing onto the road, and is constructed of flint and brick with an old red tile roof. These barns are included in the listing for their group value.
