Description

The North Barn Range at Lower Green Farm is a grade II listed structure dating from the 17th century. It consists of two barns built with a timber frame, featuring dark weatherboarding, some brick infill, and old red tile roofs. The barns are located on the north side of the yard, adjacent to the northern end of the farmhouse, and they face south. The western part of the range is a four-bay tall barn that has double doors in the second bay from the west, along with an outshut to the rear (north) of the same bay. There are also smaller double doors in the eastern bay and in the eastern part of the range.
