Description
Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with northern extensions added in the 1980s. The building features an exposed timber frame with plastered panels and has a steeply pitched thatched roof with a decorative ridge. It is a two-storey, two-bay structure with the entrance located in the gable facing south. The south end includes a two-light casement window on the first floor and a three-light casement window on the ground floor to the left of the door. There is an external chimney on the west side in the south bay, and a wide projection on the east side in the same bay, which is covered by a catslide continuation of the roof.
