Description

Hightiten Barn is a Grade II listed building, likely dating from the 18th century. It features a symmetrical design, with the main barn flanked by lower outbuildings that have long return ranges, creating an enclosed yard on three sides. The roofs are slate throughout. The main barn is oblong, constructed of flint with brick dressings and has slit openings. It includes double doors at the centers of its long sides and a half-hipped roof made of box-frame construction. The lower ranges are timber, with the right one open to the yard, and both have roofs that are hipped at the outer ends.
