Description
Castle Goring Cottages is a detached cottage, probably from the 18th century, constructed of red brick with grey headers. It features a steep tiled roof with gable chimneys. The cottage has three casement windows that are not quite symmetrically placed; the center window is a two-light design, while the others are three-light. The ground floor windows have cambered heads, and the upper windows are made of timber; all windows possibly have original metal frames with leaded panes. There is a central doorway located within a plain gabled porch. The building is reinforced with buttresses and several tie rods with circular discs. Inside, the cottage has rough-hewn ceiling timbers.
