Description
North Barn, including the wall across the south that bounds the road, is probably from the early 19th century. It forms a yard along with a separate shed on the east side. The main block is L-shaped, featuring a very large barn at the rear, which is the north side of the yard, and a long shed extending along the west side. The south side is enclosed by a flint wall with stone coping. The structure is well-built using cobbles with brick dressings, and it has a slate roof of even height over both wings. There are double full-height doors at the center of the barn, which has a queen-post type of roof. The shed is open below on the yard side and is weather-boarded above with casement windows.
