Description
The Bull Inn is a public house located on Goring Street in Goring-by-Sea. The building dates from the 18th century, although parts of the interior are older. It has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical main block featuring three sash windows, each with keystones above. The middle window is narrower, while the upper windows have glazing bars. There is a probably modern doorway with a flat hood supported by moulded brackets. The roof is tiled, renewed, and has a slightly broken, steep pitch, with gable chimneys. The front of the building is painted, while the south end is constructed of flint and brick.
There is a lower two-storey extension on the south side made of flint and brick, which may be partly older. This extension has one sash window above and a forward projection below, featuring a flat top, a forward tiled pitch, and a shallow bow window in a flat opening. It also has a gable chimney and a tiled roof with a flat top and short tiled pitches. Inside, the building displays exposed timber-framing and has a floor that is below ground level.
