Description
No. 3 Winslow Road is a 17th-century house that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill on the first floor of the south side, while the ground floor and rear are rendered. The gable facing the road is tile-hung, and the house has a thatched roof with brick stacks located to the right and between the left-hand bays. The left bay consists of two storeys, while the rest of the house is one and a half storeys tall.
The building has three bays, with three-light barred wooden casements on the ground floor and the upper left bay. There is a barred 20th-century bow window on the ground floor between the left bays, which may have been part of a former doorway. The right-hand bays feature three-light leaded casements on the first floor, adorned with thatch eyebrows. A half-glazed and barred door is situated between the right-hand bays, and there is a moulded wooden string at the first floor level.
