Description

The building is a house dating from the 15th century, with alterations made in the 17th century. It is timber-framed, with colourwashed brick infill and a rubble stone plinth. The roof is thatched and hipped, featuring two colourwashed brick chimneys. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high and has four bays. It contains 20th-century leaded casement windows, which are two- and three-light, with a small single-light window to the left of the second bay. Three first-floor windows are situated beneath thatched eyebrows. A central 20th-century door provides access, and a 20th-century conservatory has been added to the left side. The group value of the building lies in its historical significance and architectural interest.
