Description

The Former Zion Independent Congregational Chapel is a chapel dated 1816. It is rendered with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a chamfered surround, a round head, and a keystone, with doors that were likely added in the 1970s. There are two ground floor windows and three upper floor windows, all with plain surrounds, round heads, and fixed lights containing six panes. The chapel has chamfered quoins and modillioned eaves, topped with a hipped roof. A single storey vestry has been added to the right-hand return of the building.
