Description

White Knowl Methodist Chapel is a chapel built in 1809. It is constructed of rendered stone with gritstone dressings and has a slate roof. The chapel features three bays on its south elevation, which includes a central entrance with double plank doors and an additional door to the west. Above these doors are three small pane sashes with semi-circular heads.

Inside, the chapel has raised and fielded panelled galleries that are supported by fluted iron columns on the east, west, and south sides. There is a panelled octagonal pulpit with stairs located to the north, and above it is a semi-circular long window that contains stained glass. The ground floor is fitted with box pews.
