Description

Hadfield Cottage is a 17th-century building that was originally a projecting wing at the rear of Hadfield House but is now a separate cottage. It is constructed of rubble with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The cottage has three storeys and consists of one bay. The entrance on the left side has a plain surround and a 20th-century door, while there is a 20th-century window to the right. The first and second floors each have two-light double chamfered mullioned windows. There is a right-hand gable-end stack, and the right-hand gable includes a second-floor two-light double chamfered mullioned window.
