Description

The barn, byre, and storage ranges are located around a courtyard approximately 70 yards southeast of Flass House. These outbuildings are now in separate ownerships and are part of a courtyard group. The west range likely dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, while the other ranges were added around 1850 when the house was rebuilt for Wilkinson Dent. The buildings are constructed from coursed, squared rubble with quoins and feature hipped, graduated slate roofs.

The east and west ranges are two storeys high, while the north and south ranges that connect them are lower. The east elevation has a large wagon entrance with a basket head and a window to the right. Vent slits to the left are partly hidden by a lean-to corrugated iron roof. The north elevation includes three plank doors with basket heads and two windows on the ground floor of the gable end of the east range, along with one window on the first floor of the gable end of the west range. The older section of the west elevation features a segment-headed door and a plank door in stop-chamfered surrounds on each floor to the left. The south elevation has a large inserted garage door with vent slits above it in the gable end of the east range, and a single fixed window in the lower south range to the left. Stone mid and end chimneys are present on the east elevation.
