HEXHAMSHIRE LOW QUARTER DOTLAND PARK NY 96 SW Farmbuildings to 2/217 West of house.

GV ll

Planned farmbuildings, early C19: West range and west part of north range rebuilt mid-C19. Coursed rubble with cut quoins and dressings; tooled- and-margined to mid-C19 parts. Stone slate roofs on south and east ranges. Welsh slates on north and west. Buildings around rectangular yard opening at north-east corner. North range in 2 parts: 2-storey section to left has pair of segmental arches and stable door; C20 pitching door flanked by part- slatted windows above. 1-storey section has 2 boarded doors and 2 part- slatted windows, all in alternating-block surrounds. West range (barn) 2 storeys, with stable door and boarded door; contemporary outshut to rear. South range (shelter sheds) with 8-bay arcade of segmental brick arches, some blocked. East range is stable with boarded door on gabled left return; tall rubble wall with boarded door links stable to house (q.v.) Remains of later stone building in yard, and C20 timber sheds, not of interest.
