Description

Grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800. It is constructed of brick and has a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door with a fanlight above it. The doorcase is adorned with fluted engaged columns and an entablature, along with panelled reveals. The windows are sash style, complete with glazing bars, and are situated beneath gauged skewback arches. A projecting modillion eaves cornice adds detail to the roof, which is hipped and has a central ridge stack.
