Description

The Old Laundry is a house dating from the mid 18th century. It is constructed of brick and has a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays. A glazed central door is set within a large roll moulded timber case and is topped by a pediment. On either side of the door, there is a three-light 18th-century casement window, both of which are situated under basket arches. The first floor has three 18th-century leaded casements, with the central window consisting of two lights and the others having three lights. These windows are equipped with brick aprons. The roof is gabled and has internal end stacks.
