Description
Orchard Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed house that features extensions and renovations from the late 18th century and early 19th century. The front wall is finished in stucco, while the rear has some painted brickwork and the north gable reveals the exposed frame. The front part of the house has a slate roof, and the rear has a tile roof. The south-west front has two storeys with two sash windows set in reveals. The doorway is framed by solid pilasters that support a gabled canopy, and it features a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed at the top. The other elevations have casement windows.
