Description

Ivy House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later additions from the early 19th century and at the rear. The house has brick walls constructed in a Flemish bond pattern, distinguished by blue headers, red flush quoins, and cambered arches over the ground floor windows. The roof is tiled, with a catslide slope at the rear.

The west front of the house is symmetrical, comprising two storeys and three windows. It features early 19th-century sash windows in exposed frames, each with narrow side and top panes. A half-glazed door is covered by a wide pediment hood supported on posts. A long, slightly lower rear wing extends from the main house, mirroring its form. A further single-storey extension is located at the rear, constructed with flint walls and brick dressings.
