SK 26 NW PARISH OF OVER HADDON MAIN STREET 2/39 (South Side) Mona View Farmhouse and attached outbuildings II

House and attached outbuildings. 1756 with C19 alterations and additions. Coursed squared limestone and rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and raised quoins. Steeply pitched C20 concrete tile roof to house with stone gable end stacks. and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers, also coved eaves band. Outbuilding roof of stone slates with stone ridge stack. Two storeys, three bay house and two bay outbuildings. House has central flush doorcase with bracketed stone hood and panelled door. To east, C19 canted bay window with plain sashes and moulded cornice and parapet. To west, a C20 window in raised C18 surround, formerly mullioned. Above, two 2-light raised, square section mullion windows with central single light window. All C18 windows with plain sashes or two pane fixed lights. Rear elevation has flush central doorcase with lintel inscribed 'EJB 1756'. Attached to west lower outbuildings with flush quoined doorcase and adjoining 2-light flush mullion window to east with inserted C20 window to west. Above, two C19 plain sashes in flush surrounds, set widely apart.
