Description

Vernon Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and features a slate roof with brick gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The entrance has a flush doorcase, which is slightly off-centre, and contains a glazed 20th-century door. On either side of the door, there are two-light flush mullion windows with 20th-century leaded casements. Above the door, there are two similar windows.
