Description
Conksbury Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1725, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of roughcast stone, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins. It has a stone slate roof with stone gable end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a later single storey addition on the east side.
The entrance is slightly off-centre and features a flush doorcase with a lintel that is inscribed 'S/CF 1725 BH', along with a 20th-century studded wooden door. On either side of the door, there are two-light flush mullion windows, and above them are two similar windows, all of which have 20th-century leaded lights. The west gable wall and the addition to the east also contain 20th-century windows.
