Description

This is a milepost located on the south side of the main road in the parish of Taddington. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The milepost features a circular shaft and a broader circular body, which has raised bead moulding and a domed top. The word "LONDON" is inscribed around the top, while the remaining information that was once painted on it is no longer visible.
