Description
Fold Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse constructed from rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. It features a stone slate roof with a stone gable end stack and stands two storeys tall. The east elevation has two irregular bays. On the left side, there is a doorway with a 20th-century door. To the right of the doorway, there are two windows with recessed and chamfered surrounds, which show signs of having originally included two mullions, and a horizontal dripmould above. On the upper floor, there are two more windows with recessed and chamfered surrounds. The window on the right was originally designed as a three-light window, while the left window, originally a four-light window, still retains its central mullion. An attached barn is located to the left of the farmhouse but is not of listable quality.
