Description

This is a guidestone that has been repurposed as a gatepost, dated 1737. It is made of square gritstone and stands about three feet tall with a flat top. The stone is inscribed with "1737" and "BAKEWELL/ROAD." There is a further inscription that is currently hidden from view.
