Description

The guidestone located at OS288696 is a Grade II listed guidepost situated in the parish of Baslow and Bubnell on Beeley Moor. It is made of gritstone, square in plan, and stands approximately five feet tall. The stone is inscribed with the words "CHESTE/ RFIELD/ ROAD" and "BAKEWE/ LL ROAD," each accompanied by a hand and a pointing finger below the inscriptions.
