Description

The guidestone on Beeley Moor is a possibly 18th-century guide post made of square gritstone, standing about three feet tall. It has weathered significantly over time and features inscriptions that read "OFFERTON ROADE," "CHESTERFIELD ROADE," "CHATSWORTH ROADE," and "BAKEWELL ROADE." Each face of the post is adorned with hands carved to point in different directions.
