Description
Ravensdale Cottages is a terrace of six cottages built in 1823. The cottages are constructed from rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof that has four ridge stacks and two gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high, with the south elevation comprising six bays. The three bays on the east side are lower, as the terrace is set into a slope. Each bay includes a doorway with a flush stone surround, a hoodmould, and a plank door. To the right of each doorway, there is a 2-light chamfered mullion window with a hoodmould and metal Gothick glazing bars, along with a similar single light window above.
