Description
This is a barn and an attached outbuilding located to the west of Home Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century with some 20th-century alterations. The structure is built from coursed squared gritstone, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins, and has stone slate roofs, although the roof of the barn is from the 20th century. The barn consists of three bays and is accompanied by a low outbuilding to the west, which also has three bays. The barn features a central segmental-headed archway with quoining, flanked by blank walls on either side, except for breathers on the west side. The low outbuilding to the west has its east side open and is supported by a central stone pier. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
