Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century that has been restored and altered in the mid-20th century. It is built from coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a plain tile roof. The roof has a stone coped gable with a moulded kneeler on the west side and a stone gable end stack also on the west. The building has three bays and is two storeys high. The central doorcase is flush and has an adjoining single light window to the west, along with a 20th-century glazed door. There are two-light flush mullion windows on either side of the door, and above, there are three similar windows. All the windows have two-pane casements. The Cottage is included in the listing for its group value only.
