Description

The building is a former barn located to the west of Home Farmhouse, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone, with the right-hand bay rendered and whitewashed. The roof is made of corrugated iron and is half-hipped at the left end. The barn has three bays and features a central waggon entry along with small casement windows, one of which is metal, located in the right-hand bay. The interior includes irregular collar and tie beam trusses, some of which have curved braces and altered struts. This structure is included for its group value.
