II

House, formerly inn. C16-C17. Rubble stone to ground floor, gables and left end, remainder of first floor timber framed with brick infill, partly colour-washed. Old tile roof end stacks. T-plan with central bay projecting to rear. Two storeys. Stone section of front has two bays with C19 3-light wooden casements to left and blocked 2-light wooden mullion windows to right with moulded frames and diagonal struts. Remainder is irregular with varied casements and one 5-pane sash window to ground floor. Left gable has remains of painted inn sign.
