Description
The outbuilding and wall to the garden and forecourt of the Manor House date from the 18th century. The wall is constructed of coursed rubble stone, with some areas lined in brick, and features tiled copings on the east and north sides, while the west side has flat coping stones. The west wall is ramped down to a lower central section that includes a round-headed doorway flanked by square piers with moulded caps. The inner side of the wall is faced with brick, displaying a diaper pattern in blue headers. This brickwork continues around to create a small walled garden to the northwest of the Manor House, which has a wrought iron gate to the south. The north wall features a cambered brick arch over a stream at the eastern end and includes an outbuilding, likely a former stable block, at the center of the inner side. This outbuilding has a rubble stone front, brick sides, a double span tiled roof, garage openings, and a dovecote on the first floor. The east wall has a square pier with a ball finial at the northern end, along with similar piers with moulded caps and small 20th-century lions flanking the entrance.
