Description
The Croft is a former row of cottages that has been converted into a single house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed rubble stone, featuring dressed stone voussoirs and keyblocks above flat window heads. It has a slate roof and two chimney stacks. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with 3-light leaded casements. A central modern door is set within a gabled brick porch. The left-hand bay contains a 2-light leaded casement in a blocked doorway to the right.
To the left, there is a two-storey brick extension, which has a chequered pattern on the first floor, a slate roof, dentilled eaves, and a stack on the right. The ground floor features garage doors and a paired leaded casement, while the first floor has two similar 3-light casements with cambered heads. The gable includes a dovecote with projecting ledges of brick in a roughly pedimental shape.
