Description

This barn, located to the east of Home Farmhouse and fronting Primrose Road, dates to the 17th century and has been altered since its original construction. It is built of rubble stone with an old tiled roof that is half-hipped. The central opening on the south side has been bricked up. The east and west gables are weatherboarded. A projecting cart entrance is situated on the north side, featuring double doors and a partly weatherboarded gable with a half-hipped roof. There are two ventilation slits and a plain door with a timber lintel on the right-hand side. Inside, the barn comprises five bays, with a repaired roof. Part of two original windbraces remain at the east end.
